Equi Aqua

Our Story

Equi Aqua was developed from practical experience within international equestrian sport.

After years of competing and working in show environments, one thing became clear to us: consistent access to clean drinking water is essential, yet not always guaranteed during busy competition days. Temporary stabling, tight schedules, and constant movement can turn something fundamental into an ongoing task.

We believed hydration should be reliable, not reactive.

That belief led to the creation of Equi Aqua. A refined automatic watering system designed specifically for competition environments. Installed within minutes, it provides continuous access to fresh water without complex handling or technical expertise.

A distinctive feature of the system is the transparent water level indicator. At a glance, riders and grooms can confirm water availability and system function. This clarity reduces unnecessary checks and brings reassurance during demanding show days.

Equi Aqua supports natural drinking behavior through a familiar bowl with an integrated float mechanism, while a controlled water supply minimizes waste and ensures consistency.

Horse welfare remains at the center of our philosophy. Reliable access to clean water is a fundamental part of responsible horse care and aligns with the professional standards upheld in international sport.

Equi Aqua is a thoughtful improvement to one of the most essential elements of competition management.

Because excellence begins with the essentials.

About me

My name is Nikki Radstake.

I have been involved in equestrian sport from a young age, first as a passionate rider and later professionally. Over the years, I have experienced the sport from multiple perspectives, both in the saddle and behind the scenes at major competitions.

Those years shaped not only my understanding of horses, but also my awareness of the practical realities that surround them.

During multi-day international events, I repeatedly noticed how much unnecessary time and energy went into something as fundamental as providing drinking water. Buckets were knocked over, horses stepped into them, water became contaminated, and constant refilling became part of an already demanding schedule.

At the same time, regulations around hygiene and welfare continue to evolve, particularly within FEI-governed sport. Rightfully so, because water quality directly affects a horse’s health, recovery, and performance.

I realized there was room for improvement.

Equi Aqua was created from that realization. It is not simply a product, but a practical solution I personally felt was missing in competition environments. A system designed to reduce unnecessary management, improve consistency, and support professional standards of care.

My goal is straightforward: to contribute to better horse care, fewer concerns during competitions, and greater peace of mind for riders, grooms, and organizers alike.

Because when the essentials are handled well, everything else becomes clearer.
